ABOUT THIS SITE
This website has been set up to honor one of Jamaica's greatest figures, Sister Ignatius. It is both a tribute and an attempt to carry on the late Sister's work by raising money and awareness for the Alpha Boys' School. The website is maintained by some friends of Alpha as a labor of love, and we'll do our collective best to keep it up-to-date and useful. We strive to keep the commercial aspects of this website as streamlined as possible both for you and for us.

PAYMENT METHOD -- Payments must be made via credit card or account balance at PayPal, a secure, on-line banking service owned by eBay. Sign-up is free and easy -- in fact, the purchase and donate buttons on our website allow for simultaneous registration and remittance at PayPal. Please click this link to PayPal if you'd like to know more about them before proceeding.
Your financial transaction will be directly with PayPal, so we will never see any of your confidential information... just the name and address required to send your shipment. We chose PayPal because it offered the best combination of international accessibility for customers along with accounting services for the School. While we know this solution will not please everyone, we ask that you respect our decision and not request an exception. Thank you.
TAX -- No taxes will be collected. The Alpha Boys' School is a public charity operated by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, based in Silver Spring, Maryland.
TERMS -- All sales are final.
SHIPPING -- Our prices include a flat-rate shipping charge, per item ordered. There is a US $2.00 discount when you buy both a CD and Coaster Set, which is already reflected in the prices on the product pages. There are no futher discounts for multiple items purchased in a single order. We're sorry, but we unfortunately do not have time to utilize a more complicated shipping formula. Nonetheless, we believe these items are priced fairly and ask you remember that all proceeds from these sales benefit the Alpha Boys' School.
Customers in the United States will receive their orders via USPS First-Class Mail. International customers will receive their orders via USPS Global Priority Mail, with a customs declaration of US $10.00 per item. Please note that CDs and Coaster Sets are shipped from separate locations and will not necessarily arrive on the same date. This latter point is of benefit to our International customers, who are less likely to be charged duties.
We make every effort to ship orders within 72 hours of receipt. All items will be packed carefully, just as we ourselves would expect.
